Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 4 October 2026. Please read these terms carefully before using Snipsaur. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to be bound by them. How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are

Snipsaur ("Snipsaur", "we", "us", "our") is a software service operated from the United Kingdom. These terms apply to all users of Snipsaur worldwide, wherever you access the service from. If you are using Snipsaur on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you confirm you have authority to bind that entity to these terms, and "you" refers to both you and that entity.

2. The service

Snipsaur lets you submit video links for automated processing — including downloading, transcription, and re-editing into shorter clips — and provides the resulting output files to you for download. The service is provided on a subscription basis as described on our pricing page, which forms part of these terms.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, including features, limits, and pricing, and will give reasonable notice of material changes where practical. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

3. Eligibility and accounts

4. Your content and your responsibility for it

You are solely responsible for the material you submit to Snipsaur and for what you do with the output. This includes, without limitation, source videos, links, and any text or instructions you provide. By submitting material to Snipsaur, you confirm that:

We do not review, verify, or endorse user-submitted material or the resulting output before, during, or after processing. We act purely as a technical processing tool. Responsibility for the legality and rights status of any content processed through Snipsaur rests entirely with the user who submitted it, not with Snipsaur.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Snipsaur to:

We may remove content, suspend accounts, or refuse service at our discretion where we reasonably suspect a breach of this section, without liability to you for doing so.

6. Intellectual property

Snipsaur and its underlying software, branding, and design are our property or that of our licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of Snipsaur's technology to you. As between you and us, you retain ownership of material you submit and the clips generated from it, subject to the rights of any underlying third-party content owner.

7. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

8. No warranty

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Snipsaur is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that transcription, clip selection, or any automated output will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your intended use, or that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Subject to that, to the fullest extent permitted by law:

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us, our officers, employees, and agents harmless from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) material you submit to the service; (b) your breach of these terms; (c) your violation of any third party's rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights; or (d) your use or distribution of any output generated through the service. This includes claims or accusations brought against us by third parties that relate to your conduct or your content, regardless of whether those claims are ultimately well-founded.

11. International users

Snipsaur is accessible globally, but is operated from and governed under the laws of England and Wales. We make no representation that the service is appropriate, legal, or available for use in every jurisdiction. If you access Snipsaur from outside the United Kingdom, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for complying with local laws, including any local restrictions on downloading or re-publishing video content. Nothing in these terms is intended to remove statutory consumer protections that cannot lawfully be excluded under the mandatory law of your country of residence, where applicable.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Snipsaur at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms, misused the service, or where required by law. You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. Sections of these terms that by their nature should survive termination (including sections 4, 6, 8, 9, 10, and 13) will continue to apply.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the service, are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer resident in another country, mandatory local law may entitle you to bring proceedings in your own country instead. We encourage you to contact us first via our contact page so we can try to resolve any issue informally before formal proceedings are started.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify active subscribers (for example, by email or an in-app notice). Continued use of Snipsaur after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
